Hello all,
I am wanting to convert my 29g FOWLR tank into a Nano Reef. I am looking at adding the lighting shown on the attached link. I hope to mount it into a store bought canopy that would put it about 4 inches above the water. Here are my questions:

1-Is this sufficient lighting for a reef in my tank?
2-How would I protect it from moisture? If I get a gall lid for the tank I won't be able to attach my skimmer, etc. Or will I?

Thank you!

Hmm... My link didn't show up. I guess I need to learn how to do that. Essentially, the lighting is a 24" retrofit compact flourescent. it is 2X55 watt to run both 10,000K crisp white and an actinic 03. Will this be sufficient for my 29?

I'm assuming it's a rhetro kit intended for aquarium use - if so, it probably uses the rubber end caps that are moisture resistant.

Also, 2 X 55 watt PC over a 29 gallon tank will be sufficient light to keep a variety of corals - mostly softies and LPS.
