These are likely Rock Flower Anemones (Epicystis sp.) from the Atlantic. These are not hosting anemones, so do not attempt clowns with them. They are reef safe for the most part, but will sting their neighbors and could eat fish if some accidently swim too close (most anemones can, actually). If you plan on a full blown reef with many varieties of corals and fish, I suggest you give this back to your local fish store .... just to err on the side of caution.

There are those who find them quite attractive, and keep them for their looks, too.

I had one until it decided to meander around. I was afraid of him stinging my corals, so he ended up in a good home
