What kind of water do you use (Tap, RO, ect.) to make your saltwater and for top off?

i just check with my lfs and my phosphate levels are zero. they cannot do a redox test. they have some stuff to treat and get rid of the bacteria, however, they said i have to find the cause of the cyano.

i use bottled water from a local water bottle company. they assure me that it is RO.

Be careful with bottled water. Even plants that now use RO instead of distillation often still have copper tanks that they store the water in.

Increase flow to eliminate dead spaces and add phosban/rowaphos-see if that helps-
