:D

Nice to find a good site.

My current project is this 29g. It is "under construction" at this time. I started with 30# of dead reefbones and a 5# hunk of Florida Live. I wanted to make my own LR. My light is a hodgepodge of NO flouresence. I run bare bottom with two 120gph powerheads for circulation. I filter with a Saeclone skimmer and a Whisper 30-60 for carbon and phosban. My tank coffers has swelled to the point I am ready to progress.

I have on order: 1 Satalite Dual power compact for 130w-o-light
2 Quiet One pumps @ 296gph
1 overflow rated for 300 gph

I am setting up a sump in a 10g. I am using 1 pump for circulation and I will T off it for a 10g fuge. The other pump is for a closed loop. I am still trying to choose between a SCWD setup or go all out with two Seaswirlls.

Now I am open for opinions.

I'll get up a pic as soon as I get a good one and I can get it small enogh to fit on here.

Welcome to Reefs.org
set up sounds like you're to a good start..Im not sure about the seaswirl but i bet the SCWD is cheaper and from what i hear pretty damn good for a mechanical device....Increasing the lighting is a good idea if you want to keep stony corals like SPS...This all depends on what your expectations and goals are for your tank so it will be hard people to give advice... I think in time if you plan on keeping a reef type enviroment, perhaps ditching the seaclone and investing in a better performing skimmer..this is my opinion though..ive heard nothing but bad things about seaclone (commonly refered to as suckclone).. But i guess give it a try and see how i works for ya, you may end up liking it? the Sump/Fuge idea is a good way to go, i think it will help with water quality and volume of water...it will help with decreasing the bioload and over all bio filtration....

I will wait a while befor I jump into SPS/Clam territory. I would like to keep lower light needy LPS and softies for now. My stock seaclone was pretty crappy but I have tweeked it and it now produces alot of skimmate. I can finally expand my setup cause the wife is tired of the skimmers noise in the bedroom, so now I get a corner of the living room.
