Quick...

I have a fish in my QT tank right now and I did some tests and the levels are terrible. I have ammonia (not crazy lots but some), I also have nitrite :/ EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeee tempted to throw them in my display tank seeing as those levels are perfect....

But for now or future uses how do ppl keep them in QTs and keep the levels perfect.

My QT tank has:
-10 gal
-a aquaclear mini (side hang on sponge filter) with a sponge and ammonium and zeo carb insert
-a power head
-heater

:/ Poor lil guy...some quick suggestions to get my levels back to norm would be appreciated. (Water changes thee quick, cheapest and simple solution?????)

The solution to pollution is dilution!
When I run a q tank I do a 20 -50% water change from the main display almost daily.
