Quick Question: Can a Cleaner Shrimp hurt/stress/annoy a rose BTA right out of its spot and make it move around?
Description: I have two happy as can be anemones, then I got a cleaner shrimp. The shrimp at first liked this one cave up by my pink-tip anemone and it would run his "antlers" over the anemone's tenticles...this anemone did not seem to care to much. The Shrimp has now moved to the other side of the tank by a different cave and started doing that to my other anemone (rBTA). Now the anemone is reaching as far away as possible, to get away from the shrimp. The shrimp now even has climed down to the rock the BTA has its foot in, to get a closer feel.
I just wonder if he is causing any harm/stress to my BTA. Has anyone had any experience with this before??
So discouraging, I would hate to get rid of the shrimp, but I dont want my BTA to die. I do not know how to prevent it :/ Dont understand why many others have this problem.
