Loaded question. The opinions on lighting are varied. For soft corals VHO or PC would be fine. For LPS Vho or week MH. For SPS MH is the prefered lighting. Then you got the whole color issue 5500 kelvin is yellow and 20000 kelvin is blue. With several shaded inbetween. Normal floresent should only be used when their is no live corals. They do not give enought punch inless used in rediculous numbers.
