I have been using phos ban for awhile and am noticing no green algae, but my tank is 2 months old and I have no coralline algae on my live rock yet- should I stop using the phos-ban so it will grow? (don't know if it stops coralline or not) Don't I want some algae for the clean-up crew to eat? Thanks,

Why are you using phosban for such a long time? You should think about where all the phosphate is coming from and try to reduce it coming into your tank.

The phosphates will PREVENT coraline algae from growing. I run Phosban all the time, because every time you feed your fish you're adding phosphate to your system. I found that it helps preven cyanobacteria as well, which was the original reason why I started using it.

I don't know how much of a cleanup crew you have, but mine seem to do just fine. I've got snails and hermits. No issues.
