i have not had much sucess with a recent branched green star polyp...

i bought it from my usual distributor and it was looking fantastic at the time..

it retracted during transport as i expected .. i dripped it for an hour and placed it in a high flow area at teh top of my tank..

yesterday (day 4) it was showing only a few exposed polyps and i was concerned i was getting too much light so i moved it down lower in the tank

but as i am on day 5 .. it still has only exposed 4-5 polyps.. and it is changin color from purple to brown i am starting to think this is not working well

my water is in excelent shape and my hammer and frogspawn look wonderful..

any ideas on what i may want to try....

I've seen GSP take 7 - 10 days to adapt to a new tank & open up.

Stupid Flanders!

Leave them alone for a few days. I find that my GSP do not like excessive flow and are not too picky about light.

Good luck.
