cleaning outside glass

what is good to clean the glass on the outside of the tank? obviously i know not to use windex. is half part water and half part vinegar still the trick?

i use just a cotton t-shirt, if i need o add something it is just water :wink:

It's fine to use windex on the outside glass - just don't spray it near the tank. Spray a little on the rag first and then wipe...

Or the windex wipes, although they are more expensive.

make sure not use windex on acrylic!!!
use acrylic cleaner

I have a bottle of plain white vinegar that I spritz on when cleaning the glass.

The cloth diaper idea sounds good as well, I usually use a lot of paper towels.

I got some great glass cleaner from my aquarium guy. It's called Kleenmaster Brillianize. It is made by the Brillianize company out of Benica, CA. www.brillianize.com. It cleans and glazes at the same time. Really works great and I use it on all my glass. I don't remember the cost, but I am getting a gallon of it next time I need it.
