feather duster

Can anyone help. I have gone through two feather dusters and after about four days, they both have died. I fed them both oyster eggs and followed what the LFS said but to no avail. Can any body let me know what I am doing wrong?

How do you know they died :?:

Did the crowns fall off and you think they died, sometimes feather dusters drop their crowns and make new ones. So, let us know what is going on and we will be able to help you :wink:

The whole thing just sort of crawled out and it started to look like it was rotting away.

Feather dusters are extremely hard to keep alive long term.

slicker, could you tell us more about your set up. Such as when started, what type of filtration, water params., what type of lights, do you skim, do you use ro/di water, how many gals. and that kind of stuff. The more you give us to work with, the more we can help you.

Also.................New tanks=less than a couple months old, shouldn't really have anything other than maybe some snails and hermits in them.
