Hi there:

I'm the one planning a new 120G tank. I've read an enormous amount, but I'm still baffled by compatibility issues. Can some of you kindly make some stocking suggestions for primarily invertebrate tank with a DSB and built around one must-have clam? The things that interest me the most are anemones, soft corals, and zoanthids. Are these things all compatible? Can you have several different types of anemones in one tank? Several different zoanthids? Zoanthids and anemones and a clam?

Thanks,
quietreef, who is taking her puppy to puppy class.

to answer your questions yes all of the above are compatible, you just want to keep spacing between the inverts...Also you can have serval different types of zoanthids in there as well..as for more than one anemone in that size tank, is probably gonna depend on the anemone...If you get two of the same kind I dont see a problem..Again maybe a spacing apart issue for them though...As for the clam and anemones I imagine you know that intense lighting is a must, more so for the clam...we're talking Metal Halide lighting but to how much wattage and how many bulbs/fixtures is outta my domain..I have never owned a 120gal reef and I dont go by the whole watts per gallon deal, its almost bogus....
