I have a new Reef Tank (120 G) and it has been running now for almost 3 months. Tonight I was looking at the tank with a flashlight to find a couple of things I have not seen during the day.
1) Tiny White Slugs over the rocks and glass. They are about 1/8 th of an inch in size roughly.
2) Out of some holes in my live rock are long almost worm like things. When the light hits them they retract. The tips are not pointed, they are blunt.

Any ideas on these? Not sure if they are good or bad to have.
Thanks. :?:

Hi Tracy!

Without a picture you'll have to give a lot more detail to get an accurate ID.

1 - The tiny white slug kinda sounds like a White Flatworm but they could be baby Nudibranch or Stomatella Snails. White flatworms are harmless and Stomatella are beneficial.

2 - Long tentacles could be tentacles from: Vermitid Snails, Spaghetti Worms, or Hair Worms. Or, it could just be a skinny worm. Most of the worms in rocks are beneficial and clean up waste.
