t5 help

I have decided to run a t5 only tank, i have 6 54w t5's. 2 14000k and 4 20 000k, do you think this ration is fine or should i get more 14 000k and less 20 000k???

One of the nicest looking sps tanks I've ever seen was run with what you have..

What size tank?

It depends on what corals you are keeping. 14K would give more PAR, but your light setup is great if the tank is more shallow or if you're keeping lower light corals.

As Len indicated, it is on the low side for many things, but if you put the higher light requiring corals up high, you should be fine.

Stuff at the bottom portions of the tank should be low light stuff for sure though..

FWIW, the tank I saw was close to that same size.. - The SPS had excellent coloration but none of them were in the lower 1/2 of the tank.

what about the 20 000k bulbs again the 14 000k, is the ratio fine? it should only take about 100g so it's gonna be 3.2w per gallon, it should be fine....
