I don't have it, but I looked it up on Amazon. The customer reviews say it's a very good book that covers all of the basics very well. They do say it is a little dated now (1999). As far as the more advanced stuff, some more recent trends aren't discussed or at least not well.

It is an excellent beginner's book. For more updated information you might want to visit Mr. Fenner's website, http://www.wetwebmedia.com (he's an old friend of mine, too).
The basics are still the basics, and since fish aren't evolving much, most of this book is still relatively applicable. Maybe someone might send Bob an email asking that he do a revised edition, don't know how willing he might be as publication cost him out of pocket.
