Help...just got home and found my dead anemone polluting the tank, I did a 30% water change & the tank is cloudy, what else can i do, supplements or????
nah dont do another water change your takin out to much good bacteria in your tank. wait another 2-3 weeks if u want but u prob dont need to do another one u r ok. the cloudiness will go away in like 2 days just add some carbon

Just to clarify, from what I understand the good bacteria found in our tanks isn't floating freely in the water column, its actually found in our rocks, sand, basically all the surfaces in the tank. That said, its ok to do another water change tmrw if you need to. If the other corals aren't looking normal tmrw, I don't see a problem doing another WC.
Thanks for all the advice, was very concerned about the rest of my livestock. So when I test the parameters tom, I am mostly looking for an ammonia spike, rt? If its just a trace should i even do one, or is it more of a nothing to lose thing if I just change another 10%?
Get ready for a recycle? It should go quick. I had the same exact thing happen in my 24 gallon aquapod! I did 50% water change hit it with some chemipure elite and for some reason choraline started growing all over the place! Man the smell from the anamone was fierce!! :irked:
