coraline in skimmer body

will alot of coraline on the inside of a skimmer body affect performance? i clean the neck part and collection cup part very frequently, but its been about a year scince i have tanken out my skimmer and the body is coverd in coraline will this hurt performance?

I seriously doubt that it could but if it bothers you,soaked it Vinegar for a while and scrape it off.
