Cleaner Shrimp vs. My Hand

I had to remove all the fish from my tank a few days ago to treat for ich. Ever since doing this when I put my hand in the tank my cleaner shimp goes crazy and attacks my hand. Is it safe to let him clean me ? Does he think I'm a fish or is he trying to tell me I need a shower :tongueani ?

you'd be suprised what you skin looks like under a microscope. Lotsss of dead skin ... He is doing his job i'd say!!

Doing his job my first cleaner did it all the time my second one not so much. Its cool it wont hurt, you may end up with softer skin.

he is eating the dead skin off your hand.. It does not hurt.. mine does it to me when I put my hands in when the lights are off.. The one I worry about is my foxface poking me...lol
