How to get the tank crystal clear?

Hey everyone how so you get your tank crystal clear?

If you can get it working correctly- diatom filter- filters out particles down to 1 micron- actually polishes your water

if you only have a sump you can also try adding a hang on filter like an aquaclear or a canister..something with different media/sponges/pads to trap the particles. My water is always good and that's what I did.

I do sponge on bottom then media ,another sponge and a white polishing pad on top.

Add some chemi pure, and a smaller micron filter sock helps as well as making sure filter sock is clean

i use filter fiber,place a good amount right before the return,and run carbon through a reactor and i have no problems.

If you want really clear water that you have to reduce your lighting cycle because you get so much more light penetration, try looking up and dosing Brightwell Microbacter7.

skimmer with ozone will 'bleach' it clear...just be sure to use carbon to control it

Clear Water

Clean the glass, make regular water changes, and lots of LR. As for all those clarifiers out there be very cautious what you put in your tank.

thanks everyone, i hate adding any chemicals to my tank unless need, so ill wait it out and see what happens, i do have to 7 inch filter socks, so im sure ill be fine in the next couple of days.

keep cleaning filter socks every 2-3days and you be fine
