livesand help

I did my new tank upgrade about 2 weeks ago and for some reason the livesand dont look like before all the creatures i dont see any more so i think its not live any more if so what i do next i dont want to start all over please any tips would be good,thanks

how much sand did you have from your previous tank? Also, where was the sand before you transferred it over?

it was on the 55 i just tranfer everything over i think the tank did a new cycle all over and i did now stay on top of it.

why not just buy a small back and throw some new sand in it

yea am just waiting for my nits to drop a little more and stay down. just want to know if i add new livesand will the old one be live after a while

depends on brand of sand and ect. you can always take out like 30-40% and add more sand and you should be fine

yea i was of thinking of getting sand from manhattan aquarium from their system which they offer
