does anyone know what's the green stick thing is

A type of macro algae it appears to be but it is sandwiched right in between some aiptasia it looks like.

aiptasia it is been trying to get rid of it for a year now . i got it from a dirty rock . the macro algae should i take it out or is it OK to leave in

It is called Neomeris algae, slow growing, not overly common, comes from Indonesia usually on L/R.
You can pluck it off if you want.
