How High to keep my lights?

Hi, Im in the process of setting up a 57g rimless and I just picked up a current outer orbit mh/t5 light. It has two 150 mh, 4 t5's and 16 leds. How high should I keep this from the top of the tank or top of water? Ill have about a two inch sand bed and for now all i will have is lr, fish and a couple brains and mushrooms.

Keep like 7'' off the tank

i got that light in the 2X250 36" version and mine sit 8" above my tank

Are you guys running 10k,14k,20k etc for the mh? And do you need a chiller or are they high enough to keep temp down?

keep a fan on when MH are on to reduce heat, I run 12k on 400w reeflux
