NEED HELP: When capping off your tank, what kind of water?

Hey guys. What kind of water should I be using when capping off my tank. My friend told me that with salt water tanks, you end up losing a little bit of water. What kind of water should I use?

Rodi water with zero salt added.
Only pure water evaporates so only pure water should be replaced to maintain levels.

You need purified water, 0 TDS. Think about an RODI unit to save money on the water.

I'd say just make sure it's not saltwater. You don't need to have an RODI I highly suggest one. But I know a few people who don't use RODI and somehow have beautiful tanks.
