Thinking about making the jump to an LED fixture...need some help from the pros

Help with LEDs

Ok so I am considering going from T5's to Led's


I am considering the Maxspect G2-400-160W or the Pacific Sun 160w Black Python

I will need 3 of either unit for my tank


I love the features and have read great things about Pacfic Sun


I would like to know what light you recommend and is the $1200+ price difference in the brands worth it?

do the maxspects give you as much control over the lighting cycle as the pacific suns?

I know you said that you'd like to choose between those two companies. But I'd take a look at Aqua Illumination and Acan Lighting if I were you. Both are great companies to deal with, and have awesome products.

Ok I looked into Aqua Illuminations and I like the features

the only problem is the fixture is 12" and only 75W, for a 72" 125g tank I would need 5-6 of those fixture

personally it would look odd with that many lights and at that price then Id rather go pacific sun



I like the Acan fixture and it would be $3600 for my tank, so the Acan is currently the most expensive
