HELLO EVERYONE ' NEW UP ON HERE ! Need some advice with my saltwater set up !

Thanks for the welcome ! My question is , I have a 40 gallon set -up with live rock only running on a fluval along with a protein skimmer ; should i invest in a wet dry system, not looking to turn my tank into a reef set-up, fish and live rock only been up and running for over 1 year . If i do get a pro clear 75 wet dry will it make my tank better for my fish .....

yes they are had 4 of them over a year ! was told so many different stories that i need to get rid of my fluval and get a wet/dry

If you have it up a year and fish are fine and no problems with algae why would you want to change. If it works....

For a fish only tank I would stick with the can filter. It is fine for them and as long as you clean it frequently and change the media in it you should be fine.

 

[masterswimmer]

For a fish only and no intention of a reef then the canister works with the skimmer and rock. No need for anything else. Save your money.
