Just saw this on reefbuilders the other day.

The Tunze Nano Reverse Osmosis is a tiny and efficient little reverse osmosis unit to meet the reduced water purification needs of the nano reefer. The Nano RO Station is great for office tanks as they are about the size of a 16oz glass and come with a quick adapter for any kitchen or bathroom sink. The produce 15gpd and have a custom DOW membrane and they are made in the US of A. MSRP is now $89.73.

look into a "water store"..most of them use RO to filter their water and sell them in 5 gallon jugs.

depending on how much water you need it might be worthwhile to just buy it this way.

If you add up all the cost of an RO unit, time to make the water, waste, storage of the water and maintenance of the RO unit...buying the water pays itself off.

7.5-15gpd for $90

That would barely keep up with my top off water! I'd be waiting a week to do a water change! lol

Quick question, can you do something with the waste water? I was looking at the typoon 3 from airwaterandice, but it gives 1 gallon of pure water per 4 galons of waste. Is a lot of water to waste
This unit sucks I have it and it makes like 1 5 gallon bucket in 3-4 hours it wastes a TON of water. If your water pressure in your house is low u will also need to buy a booster pump you are looking at around another 150 or more depending on the one you buy.
