u had a acrylic top for a ten gallon and 2 inches of the back was removeable with plastic... u know the little plastic on almost all hoods that u can cut to ur desire.. anyways i had to cut it ans i found this siccor near my sink that was in a puddle of water because my counter top il slopeing a little and it was in the puddle.. the thing is that it was near dish soap and a bar of hand soap which were in a plastic small box but the box probably has a little soap on the surface..... i rinsed the siscoor off a lil and cut the plastic.. then i rinsed the plastic and dried it with toilet paper... anyways do u think that little can do anything?? and is using toilet paper to dry ur aquarium supplies a good idea??? i use it ti dry my hands also cause it doesnt leave paper resedue.. like the little crumbles... am i just over reacting??? i am very cautious with my 10g nano cause anything can go wrong.... i also have stopped using soap to wash my hands everytime i put my hands in.. i used to wash em first.. my tank is currently cycling...

You are overreacting. No need to get paranoid over the smallest occurrences, issues etc.

I sterilize all my supplies be4 using it. Any way isn't this forum for asking questions anyway? He over reacts because he cares and it's a ten gallon tank. In any small tank the simplest change can do damage so I would be a lil worried once in a while as well. So keep asking dude and don't feel bad we all have things that give use "scares" in our tank some might be smaller than others.. All of us have all failed at this hobby once or twice.. So any questions feel free to ask...
For the dish soap don't worry to much about it but I think you should start keep ur hobby supplies separate from all the other stuff and sterilize them with a steamer or just wash thoroughly with out soap. Lol. Hope that helps

rebel i was like nanoperson when i started out , and so where you, and if I may say so everyone else to maybe not so critical, but curious, about certain things. He is new to the hobby give him some credit for being concerned. and like what batt said maybe he had a bad experience in the past.
