ammonia mystery solved--I think

I've just tested my "fresh water" and it is testing the same on the ammonia scale as my salt water in tank--0.25. I've been using a tap water filter, but obviously not good enough (thanks lfs!). Anyone have a RODI unit they like/would recommend? I need to fill a 55G. THanks!

I've been using the Spectrapure RODI 90 GPD for about a year and my TDS is still at 0, incoming and outgoing. It gets the job done. I got it for $149 during one of their monthly sale.
