Help!! Clams spawning

My two clams 1 tridacna 1 crocea began spawning about 30 minutes ago. i have them in a 75g tank. Is this bad?? I read online it could kill everything in the tank is this true? Please help!

not a bad thing and it is good food for corals ect, turn your skimmer off as it will more then likely go nuts

Is it possible this will "nuke" the tank? I read an article that said the millions of eggs will die, reducing oxygen levels that will kill fish and possibly cause an ammonia spike.

I would do a 25% water change to be safe

common behavior. no need to panic. it also may be a stress sign from the clams. take a pic. what does the clams look like now?

if they are spawning that means your tank parameters are perfect, i work in a fish store and have my own reef and have never seen a clam or a coral spawn

Didnt know he was so reputable. He was right though, nothing happened and the tank was ok. Thanks for the help.
