STUNG/BITTEN!!

so i was doin a water change and moved my candy cane coral and torch. anyways when i moved it i felt a little pinch on my finger. i saw white little things on my cany cane (the branch part) i think called spirorbid worms. so i was curious and i touched it and it felt hard but u could see it was a ring like worm. what should i do?? i fell no pain as of now but maybe it was venemous? maybe it's inside my skin? i dont want parasites growing inside me cause ive seen the show "monsters inside me" lol...

Most likely, you'll be fine...

I would do as NYreefNoob suggests and wash and pour peroxide on it

BUT if the pain gets worse in 1 or 2 days and not better, you may actually have an infection which you should see the doctor immediately. I've cut myself before from live rock which developed into a nasty infection within 3 days, my whole hand was swollen and painful to even try typing on a keyboard.
Antibiotics worked wonders

Hi

I recently had an incident when I punctured my hand while moving some live rock around. It did not even bleed or really hurt. In two days that tiny puncture became the hand in the picture. I went to the Doctor and he said the problem was that the injury(puncture closed over) and I did not bleed and that set up the bacteria infection. He diagnosed me with a Mycobacterium Marinum infection and put me on 2 weeks of 2 antibiotics. The hand is much better but the sore is still slightly open.
I guess what I am trying to say is if it swells up or starts getting reddish you should go to the doctor, but the odds of it becoming a monster in your body are probably not too high

Assuming that you have already washed your hands, and poured hydrogen peroxide over the area you can also apply bacitracin ointment on the affected area for added measure.
