Making a water container

Gona be using a rubbermaid 44 gallon container to have water ready, instead of making it when I need it. Im getting a powerhead from another member to use inside of it. My question is, should I use liner like a garbage bag inside the can, or should I just give it a thorough washing before I start using it?

No need to use a trash bag/liner when using the can I mentioned. A light rinse of both the inside and outside of the can and lid is sufficient enough.

They both look the same just diffrent gal, as long as its new and clean you should be fine, i have the 44gal for my kalk top off and works great, I even have used one that all i did was bleach and power wash and like new

I just finished purchasing a 50 gallon one. And all I did was rinse it and wipe it clean.

They are kind of expensive but well worth it...figure 44 g's of water weighs 352 pounds..eek! That is not going to do good things to a floor as you drag it across there!

I made the mistake of getting a different rubbermaid the roughneck..it was good for a month until I woke up to a disaster it just started leaking out of nowhere I had about 10 gallons or so on my floor.

Sorry i wasn't clear. The casters are sold separately. It looks like a disc with wheels on it. The Rubbermaid slides onto it via slots so it won't fall off.
