Not joking around. Some say that they fixed the fire problem with the lights but I don't believe them. Go with a better name brand of light. I love my current nova extreme pro. The only thing is that it does not have moon lights.
You can def find one used for less than that. I actually started with an Odyssea pc fixture that I bought for $90 of ebay like 3 years ago. I wasnt on the forums at the time and I was misinformed. I wound up getting my current 6 bulb Nova Extreme Pro from a member on hear for $150 and it was only 1 yr old! I took the pc fixture apart and Im using the led moonlights off that. The Odyssea I owned never caught fire but Ive read reports where they have.
in the other hand i wanna have that experience with the lites catchin on fire but with a tank thats not beein used...so it kan give me a picture in my head 2 c how my 55g tank will turn wit the lites on fire :shhh:
this is funny but i think it was because of the ballast and they dont use those old shitty ballasts anymore, obviously they arent the greatest ballasts but its better than what anthony luciano is trying to sell lol (not bashing him)
Hey any fixture that is only 70 bucks for 4 bulbs and shipped for free can't be that good. And i agree about that 20 dollar fixture lol, defintely has fire written all over it.
Runing 48'' Odyssea 2x250 MH/4x65pc light for a year and a half and 24''T5 ho light on my doughters little tank with now problem so far. Problem was associated with bad balasts. Question. How many of as realy used this light and for how long?
