Longnose Hawk Reefsafe?

As title says is a longnose hawk reefsafe? Would my blood shrimp and coral banded be okay with him. The shrimp are pretty large sized, let me know your opinion.

They are reef safe with caution, they may eat ornamental shrimp snails and crabs

Mine don't bother snails or crabs but not sure I'd trust them with shrimp, you may get lucky since the shrimp are already in the tank but if they are small don't be shocked if they go missing. On the flip side I love them, great fish.

In my opinion he will eat any shrimp if he's hungry. I have seen them take large shrimp and bash them against a rock until the pieces were small enough to eat

so just make sure you feed him good that he won't look for food anywhere else in your tank.

I term them as an acceptable risk. Get a smaller LNH and feed well as stated above and more than likely your shrimp will be fine.

Mine has been great. I got him relatively small but he has grown quite a bit. Keep him fed well and you should be okay. I keep a lot of non reef safe fish in my tank but so far... so good.
