Led lighting

Led lighting by acan - ai sol - etc .....so many choices out there. Looking to buy led lighting for my 120 gal tank. I will be housing softies, paly/zoa, clams and some easier sps. (mixed reef) any suggestions.

I have bolth units AI sol and the Acan 101. Like the Acan light a lot but at the end of the day I went with Ai for a couple of reasons.

Cree led's
Upgradeable
Easy to replace
No patent issues(so they wont be going anywhere soon)

your best bet it to do a DIY led kit buy 2 48led kits it will only cost you $1100 dimmable . And that will be plenty of light for your 120

i just got the acan a102 and my god are they bright.right now i only set them at 50%.

Acan is distributed by a company in LI. I'm not sure where they're made. They're GREAT as far as streamline design..programming. etc... BUT I heard the failure rate is upwards of 30%

I'm personally running the simple blueline system on my tank & I can't complain about the growth. for a 120, you'd need 3 of them. that's around $1200 so you can DIY or buy them already made.

It is not it is a rebadged Eco-Lamps led line. James(the owner of Acan lighting) has the US rights to sell them and hence Acan Lighting. He is based in Commack, Long Island. Nice guy and great people that work at Acan. Overall a very nice product.
