Glass anemone Problem

i got two glass anemones coming out of an acan colony. I tried removing the colony from the tank, and cut them off w/ a scalpel. Now there back!!! whats the best way to kill these suckas?

Zaptasia worked really well for me, just be careful it might spill onto the acan heads.

pepermint shrimp. not sure how big your tank is but they really do tear up aiptasia

Try to inject regular white vinegar into its mouth- works better than any bottled aiptasia nukers.

peppermint shrimp sometimes eat acans. i will nevet trust a peppermint shrimp around acsns again, have hsd to many eat acans.

pepp shrimps work too, Ive never had a problem with my acans though. Ill keep that in mind since my pepp is housed with about 20 ultra acan frags!

They look like camelback shrimps to me, but I could be wrong
But peppermints will eat aiptasia from my experience ONLY if they're hungry enough.. but they also can eat LPS when they're hungry enough as well.

Yes peps are ok with cleaners. If you want the pep to eat the aptasia, you have to make sure its from the Caribbean, and the apstasias cant be too much bigger than the shrimp. Or you can try to get one of Paul B.'s zappers!

i use robics lye

i use robics lye. works great, disapates quickly. never hurt anything in the tank but bristle worms. only drawback is its probably the most dangerous item i keep in my house. real nasty stuff if you are not slow and super careful but works great
