Adding Crushed Marble to the sand bed...

Hello,

A very random question but I was thinking to of adding a very nice bit of crushed marble to my sandbed just to make it have a more rocky looking appearance.

To my knowledge - it's crushed marble... a rock. It should have zero effect on the tank.

Your thoughts?

if its crushed glass i dont see how it will affect the parameters at all, however, if its marble rock its calcium carbonate based and will definetly affect the parameters...
