so im finally about upgrade to a 40g breeder this summer. I have sucessfully kept my 10g nano for 1 year already! and i figure this summer would be a good time to upgrade. I just am really not sure of the challanges that would come with a 40g. My 10g was not really hard at all to take care of and people say the bigger the tank the easier. So this should be easy rite?lol... the only thing that bothers me is all the equpiment and sump. It looks so confusing to set up!!!!! Can i buy a pre made sump? Does anyone have a spare sump? Please educate me because i dont really know what i am getting into. And i dont know ANYTHING about dosing tanks. My 10g never needed anything special, just plain water changes. I ALSO dont have a ro/di filter. How much does one cost and is it hard to set up? Again the ro/di is also confusing for me!!! i buy ro/di water from my lfs.. Can i use any ro/di filter brand from homedepot like a brita or honeywell?? or does it have to be a special aquarium brand. PLZ PLZ PLZ EDUCATE ME!!
or should i go 40g with no sump?? and go all in one?? it would be much easier BUT more maintanence. or maybe a 29g biocube??
