So my plans for a dwarf seahorse tank have kind of been squashed. Now I am left with a fluval chi and am not quite sure what to do with it. I want it to be a bit of a different type of setup. I've been thinking maybe non-photosynthetic or maybe a planted tank, but probably am not able to do either of those either. I would love some suggestions.

Theyll be tough to work with. I was looking at one today, the flows really slow and the lighting will not work for anything. Even freshwater planted wont work, imo. Im glad youre not dealing with seahorses either, theyre tough to keep really healthy unless you have a very dedicated system for them. Sad because most slowly die.

Yeah it's unfortunate that it didn't happen. Should have done some more research before getting the tank. However, I am about to upgrade the lighting on my other tank which has par38's currently. I may end up getting a small hang on filter and hanging the light from a pendant. That way I could at least put some corals in it.
