Diy filter socks ?

Hey guys, anyone out there make their own filter socks? What are the pros and cons wiyh diy filtrr socks?

I sew and IMO it is not worth DIY. Time wasted picking up materials and then sewing them vs buying them doesn't add up to a savings. You'd also have to sew in a 'top' or encase a string to pull them closed to hang them.

You're better off ordering new or placing a Want To Buy thread for them..IMO.
