Hey Guys,
Something weird is going on with my green metalic torch. for some reason it's letting go of it's skeleton. I had the same type of torch do the same thing a few weeks ago. I have other torches and hammers and all look good. just the two metalic are acting weird. With the previous one that let go of the skeleton, I tried moving it to a lower flow area and it didn't work and it eventually died.
I've done some research and I've found that they do that as a last ditch effort to survive, the only thing I don't understand is why is it so streesed. Like I'd mentioned before all other corals are looking great.
(On a side note: the way the coral is letting go of skeleton is right from underneath of the center of the mouth.
Here is my tank info:
8bulb tech light
0 nitrates
8.3 ph
.026 salinity
420 calcium
and all other params in line
Any suggestions or advice would greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.
sorry for the long post :sad2:
