Honor, Self Respect and Community.

It has come to my attention as well as the other moderators here that there are a couple of of outstanding debts/disputes that have not been resolved. It pains me to think that in our tight community here at M.R that we have individuals here that have not had the honor or self respect to resolve these debts.
I'm not aware if the site officially can or will take a stand on this, but we can. I propose that as a community we stand together to keep these individuals from having the ability to buy or sell here in our forums until these debts are resolved, they should not have the privilege of future dealings among us.
I can't believe with all the friends I have made on here that this needs to be said.

It is sad that this sometimes happens - more often than not, there is a miscommmuncation that has happened and it is failing between parties - being a mediator is the qworse position to be in and the site will not get into forcing the issue - we can help mediate, but, ultimately, it is up to the community to react to the issue similar to getting a bad meal at a restaurant - either you'll try that restaurant one more time or you'll never go back again.

Pains me (too) to see that this has happened, but I really don't know all the facts - I can only hope that it is resolved properly and that the parties affected communicate and come to an agreement.

All of my experiences have been good ones but I can see how these things can happen. I guess it happens when a lot of people come into one place. You are bound to get a few bad apples. I'm with you on this one Mike. The hobby should be filled with people who are just that. Hobbiest. Keep the MR spirit!

i have been a part of this community for a short while now but ever since i have joined i have learned an immense amount, and look forward to learning even more. Everyone here has been very nice and very generous, i personally think that this is the best website and community ever.... and its very disapointing to see some people take what they have been presented with for granted..... they are simply unapreciative....:frown:
