heater for a 180

I don't think 250 would handle a 180 - I have a proheat that is brand new and in my tank for a month or so. I will be moving over to a chiller with a heater built in, so I won't be needing this one.
It's a 500w titanium etc. I think it went for $40 new - I'd do $30 - keep in mind it has only seen water for a month.
