WTB: Protein Skimmer

Hey guys my protein skimmer died and now i need a protein skimmer in sump.

How does a skimmer "Die"? I like to have my MR-2 "killed"

I dunno for some reason it doesn't make bubles anymore and the damn thing just sucks up the water into the waste cup and no skimming going on. It was working fine for about a year and a half then all of a sudden it judt don't work!

I don't think it has died, maybe just little sick.

Cleaning it will help it get better.

Make sure the air intake is clear. If my backpack looses the air hose, it just pumps water through. No bubbles.

You might just need to pull it out and soak everything in vinegar to get rid of built up calcium.
