you are better off ordering from Marine depot they do the same deal but the bulbs are cheaper. I may be interested in 2- 72" super actinics. depending on where your located---I don't want to spend $20 in tolls and gas to pick them up, would kind of defeat the purpose. let me know.

whats up..gas is not that bad from where i was to pick up bulbs ,,not bad in price and really good bulbs ,,,,Reeflux 175w 10 k ,,2 for 120 and uri 125w vho actinics 27 each ,has really good lighting ,,got them at REEF EXOTICS really nice guy to deal with ,.. i looked a marine depots site they are 10 bucks more for bulbs

where is reef exotics located. I only mentioned marine depot because it seemed as though they where gonna get the bulbs shipped, besides with free shipping the price from marine depot is still cheaper.

with these bulbs, half seems to be coated more than the other half. should the coated side face up and the clearer side face the water?

yeah ,,i notices that as well the coated side gos up ,,they clear gos down,,.. ,,,,the clear side is where the light shine out from most,,the coated side is so that it wont direct light from on top ,,thats my guess..but there is on thing i could say ,,the reeflux bulb are amazing ..and the actinic URI are just as amazing ,,if marine depot has that company then yes cheeper is the way to go ,,since this is an $$$$$$$$ hobby ,,but worth it

i just bought two URI bulbs. One says "URI" on it and one says "Super Actinic" on it. are they both URI bulbs just stamped differently? or is there another brand called "Super Actinic" that got mixed up with the URI? or should they all say URI on the bulb?

ok, i called up URI, they are both URI bulbs (just stamped differently).

I bought two but only need one in the end.

If anyone wants a 60" one, i'll give it to you at what it cost me ($40) from country critters.
