Posting with updated size info.

This is a FO tank, never got around to adding other live elements. After returning to school 2 years ago, my husband took over tank duties; last month he managed to kill off the last of the fish. I have no time or money to restock and resume some semblance of decent care, so I've decided to part with the tank.

Included are the 65 gallon tank (drilled, 36"w x 24"h x 18"d), unfinished wood stand (very utilitarian; 40" high with a footprint a touch bigger than the tank), sand, rocks, fake plants, via aqua heater, pro clear aquatics model 75 wet-dry filter, mag drive pump, and all miscellaneous maintenance supplies (eg siphon vacuum, test kits, hydrometer). No hood, no lights, and I'm not sure I would trust the bag of salt me have.

I believe the parameters were in order at the time of final demise, and I have kept the pump running. So you can keep the water if you want to. However, this is going to need to be cleaned up before use- superficial cleaning for sure, plus dh didn't siphon the sand regularly, and I'm not sure how often the filters were cleaned.

The tank can be picked up from me in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

Asking $100 OBO for the set up.

Aww

No interest now? I'd hate to have to post it to Craig's list and have it be bought by someone who doesn't know what they're getting (or getting themselves into) :sad2:

Come on folks, I assured her that someone on MR would snap this up and save the system from the evil clutches of the inexperienced hobbyist wanna be.

Or KT, you could just suck it up and let us help you turn it into a 1st class system:)

Yes, there is a brace in the middle of the top.
Here's a picture of the bottom where the plumbing is.
Btw, I can't reply to the vB pager. Not enough posts yet.

Ummm Randy I think people need to see the price a little better.......................

Not sure what this means. Is there something unclear about $100 or best offer? I don't really know what the price should be (I do know an ungodly amount was spent to set it up), which is why the OBO.

I've had several PMs that seemed to indicate absolute interest ("I can pick it up tomorrow!"), but no follow-through :irked:. At this point, I want this thing out of my apartment ASAP- it is holding up my plans for the space, and I am getting sick of running the pump for no reason.
