looking for a float switch for my top off water ,where can i get one cheap or if anyone has for sale lmk,

I know joshsaul came to the rescue for me, but here are two places. On ebay, search for float switch. A guy has something called mer man, it's a contained switch and control that you just plug your pump into. Super safe IMO. If you are on the DIY wild side, check out floatswitches.net. They're inexpensive and my last one worked for about a year.

I have one from California reefs that I've never used. I needed one for vacation 2 months ago, ordered it but took too long to get it, wound up buying one the day before I left from Absolute Fish for 100!!!!! (When you need it now, you need it now...) Anyway, heres the link for the switch, I never even unwound the twist wire on the cord.

I like my litermeter because not only does it dose but it has a float switch built into it. Worse case the float switch breaks(Which I have never heard of happening on one) and you can set how much it doses so it doesnt even overflow the sump(or tank). I bought my litermeter used for under $100 and it was WELL worth it.
