Hello All!

I just found this site thanks to Manhattan Users Guide. What great timing!

I am moving from NJ to CA in a month or two and the idea of transporting tank & fish is daunting.

I have had this tank practically forever, at least 15 years, with varying fish in it. It comes with the plain old iron stand, new heater, new filter and new lid w/light. Probably also with whatever supplies I have left, testers, food, etc.
At the moment, there's 2 Anjelicus cats, pretty large, and a monster sized Matea cichlid that I've had since he was a teeny thing. That's about 8 or 9 years and he's maybe 8" long. He's got a strong personality, and he's pretty funny, very personable (this sounds like a personal ad for a fish!!).

I really hate to get rid of them, but if a good home is to be found, I think I'm in the right place. :sigh1:

I have photos of the set up & fish, can email if you'd like.

Thanks!

Thanx, I'll try there also!

BTW how difficult is it to go from fresh to salt? There's a ton of pretty salty stuff in San Francisco, but I've never done it. I've had a tank or 3 or 4 since I was 5yo, and I'm 42 now!
