Trying to gauge how much interest there is for frags of Pulse Xenia and Anthelia. I have to make room for a new clam so will be trimming them back.

Started with two very tiny frags of this xenia a few months back and now have a ton of it in my tank! It all pulses (though it pulses best in low flow).

Same thing w/ the Anthlelia- started w/ one small frag and now have a ton of it.

A ton is relative- I have a 16 g tank so more than a few of these stalks takes up quite a bit of room. I could probably make upwards of 6 decent frags of Xenia, about the same with Anthlelia. Some will be on small rock frags, others will just be scraped off the rock. They attach fairly quickly- as I've noticed now that more than a few head have been sucked up be powerheads and have now started new colonies elsewhere in my tank.

Can meet sunday and/or monday in Grand Central- $5 a frag or $25 for everything I can frag. Don't have a good place to hold them, so I won't be fragging until I am just about to leave-which is why I don't know the exact number of pieces I will have. Let me know if you are interested!

I will be posting pics later on tonight- I would say the $5 frags are a equal to or a little less thick than my pinky finger- or a few smaller pieces. They are pretty long now, both Xenia and Anthlelia, with the 'hands' extending 4-6" high. Anthelia are a little less thick than a pencil.

Xenia are just your typical species- tan with darker fingers. They pulse often which is nice.

Anthelia are a tan/pink color.

Now that I think about it I'd probably rather spread these out to only a few people- they are a pain to split up since they are slimy and hard to get to in my small tank. I'll see how many peeps are interested though. I wouldn't worry about the size- you will get plenty to curse at later on as it spreads everywhere :) I love xenia- looks great but man does it grow.

Here are pics from a month or so ago (my clam is blocking many of them now, keeping me from a good photo)-

Sounds good- ur 1st in line. They will grow long or will shrink down due to a number of things. Any they grow quick regardless. Mine are long when in high flow- but shrink near a powerhead. The more intense your light the shorter they will stay as well (or so I've heard- I have PC lighing so they stay fairly long it seems).

Let me know if you need to meet at a specific time. I took off Monday, but would probably prefer to sleep in (have a big exam on sat :( ) - I would say anytime after noon. i live two blocks from there so not a big deal for me to walk over- or you could come and check out the tank!

Ink- sure Monday OK?

Samster- I am splitting the frags up between Don and Ronster. If you can get a small piece from Don thats fine w/ me (even a tiny piece will grow reaaaally quickly if it likes your tank).
