Well after several delays and a change to have them build me a stand. I finally got my tank up and running. My biggest issue right now is micro-bubbles galore. I think I need to redesign my sump. Just not sure which way to go, as I thought I set it up properly. 3 bubble traps 1.5" apart and...

  15. Hanna Meter - Convince Me!

I posted about the accuracy of the hach pocket colorimeter 2 being more accurate. So I called Hach and they told me that the .0015 abs accuracy is absorption of the reagant not the accuracy of the test and that the meter is +- .04, they same as the hanna meter. Now the accuracy listed on the...
  16. rodi ?

I do not use a pump, I have mine getting water right from the cold water line. I never even heard of using a pump. I have not seen water pressure higher than what is recommended yet in a house/apt. The 2 biggest factors on a properly plumbed rodi unit for gpd is water pressure and...
  17. Hanna vs Hach Colorimeter

The hanna meter is 180 and the 100 reagents is 24 for around 204. The Hach is $335 with the 100 reagents. So its 135 difference. Does anyone think the increased accuracy is worth the price? Thanks
  18. Hanna vs Hach Colorimeter

I was looking to buy a Hanna Phosphate Colorimeter and noticed that the precision is +- .04 where the new hach colorimeter is only +- .015. With wanting the tanks around .03 the hanna could really be inaccurate. Is the Hach worth the extra $135? Does anyone have the Hach Phosphate Pocket...
