Your feeling on Brightwell Aquatics CoralAmino.

Was just browsing around and stumble upon some old articles on other sites and a lot of people (i actually didn't read a bad review)love this product. I want to try, but it's a bit expensive. Have you guys tried it? Anybody sells it around here? After shipping is about $25 for a 2oz bottle.

Hey Oggi, I am getting the bwell amino tomorrow. How do you feed it? I know mechanical filtration needs to be off, do you target feed it? Is your tank full of corals? How many times a week do you use it?

I did use, and I used it as per their directions, I didn't really notice any improvement. I didn't target feed the corals, I just added to the main column of water...Its too expensive to try again, I am going to try salifert amino acids and i'll see how that goes.

I use kent marine microvert or the brightwell reefsnow. I always target feed. It's better that way

I use Preis Aquaristik V-power and Oyster eggs with good results. Tried reefsnow and Reef pearls but my corals didn't induce any feeding response to them

This stuff gave me red algae all over my sandbed. I didn't run a carbon dosing method but I had a low nutrient fully grown and colorful SPS reef. My colors were getting that "zeo" look so I began dosing these aminos to darnken up SPS colors. I will never use this product again.

You know, I didn't put the cyano and me using this product together, but I think it did give me cyano. I don't think i misused it, but while using it i did get cyano. I recently stopped, so we'll see what happens.
